Crystal Palace suffered their third consecutive defeat, and despite scoring twice, Alan Pardew's team couldn't do enough to stop Liverpool.

Goals from Emre Can, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Roberto Firmino secured Liverpool's fifth win in six league games, although the Reds' defence remains their weakness as James McArthur levelled twice before the break.

Palace's form hasn't been great lately, Pardew's team have conceded seven goals in their past two league games and have not kept a clean sheet in their past 15.

The hosts were poor in the first half, defensive errors allowed Palace to twice get back in the game. The Eagles improved after the break but the attacking force of Liverpool proved irresistible. There were two penalty shouts for Palace for challenges on Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke but neither were given.
