Andrea Belotti has sparked the interest of many European clubs
Torino will reportedly look to extend the current deal of forward Andrea Belotti in the hopes it will ward off the interest of Liverpool.
Several European clubs have been keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old-whose contract runs until 2020-this season.
And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato,Torino’s president Urbano Cairo is set to open talks with the 22-year-old striker over a contract extension with a pay rise.
The Italian front man has been in scintillating form so far this season, netting five goals and two assists in only five Serie A games to date.
Jurgen Klopp is reportedly an admirer of the Italian
He has also replicated his red-hot streak at international level and scored his first goal for Italy during his first start for the Azzurri.
Belotti’s performances have brought him to the attention of some of European football’s heavyweights, as Calciomercato reported Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are preparing to bid £20 million for the Italian this summer to boost their attacking options.
However, Torino are desperate to keep hold of their talisman and will offer him a five-year deal that will include a huge £54 million release clause that they hope will thwart Liverpool’s attempts to sign him.
