The Hammers have been beset by injuries at the beginning of this campaign, with a number of first-team stars all missing out.
Cresswell was arguably the biggest loss after becoming a key player in the side over the last two seasons.
He has been out since picking up an injury in a pre-season clash with Karlsruhe but has now returned to full training in a big boost to the Hammers.
“We will start with the positive news this week, which is that Aaron Cresswell, Havard Nordtveit and Jonathan Calleri have all returned to full training,” Stijn Vandenbroucke confirmed to the club’s official website.
“Aaron was injured in a pre-season match with Karlsruhe in Austria in July, while Havard is back in training after undergoing a small medical procedure, while Jonathan has had a minor injury.”
Manager Slaven Bilic will now be hoping to have all three players back fit and fighting for a first-team place as soon as possible.
None more so than Cresswell, with the Hammers severely short at left-back after Cresswell’s replacement, Arthur Masuaku, also picked up an injury.
Alvaro Arbeloa has played in the position at times but looked far from confident in the role and they will be keen to have their key man back in sooner rather than later.
It is unlikely he will be fit enough for this weekend’s games when West Ham take on Crystal Palace away from home.
