The 16-year-old will be looking for first-team football as soon as possible in the Conference Premier.
There has been a big twist in the future of West Ham United talent Idris Kanu, as the player has now joined Conference Premier side Aldershot Town – despite seemingly being set for a move to Manchester United just a month ago.
The 16-year-old was brought in on trial by Manchester United in September and capped off his time at the club with a brace for the club’s under-18s as they defeated Middlesbrough 5-1 at Carrington.
New United under-18s coach Kieran McKenna, who arrived at the club from Tottenham Hotspur recently, was impressed – as is academy chief Nicky Butt – and Manchester United were said to be looking at luring the player from West Ham – as reported by the Daily Mail.

But that is not the case, as the teenager has signed for Aldershot Town today – as confirmed on their official website.
The Shots manager Gary Waddock had this to say about the 16-year-old forward:
“We’re fortunate to have signed a very talented player.
“We need to make sure that we help him to realise his potential but we are planning for the future.”
The report claims that he left West Ham last month and has subsequently agreed to continue his development with Aldershot Town.
Manchester United and West Ham fans will certainly be keeping an eye on his progress.
