West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic speaks with Simone Zaza
The father and agent of West Ham United striker Simone Zaza has confirmed to TuttoJuve that the London club will be obliged to buy him outright from Juventus if he plays ten league games for the club this season.
West Ham desperately hunted for a new striker this summer and failed in moves for some big name targets.

In the end they brought in the Italian international, on loan from Juventus. His father Antonio Zaza told TuttoJuve today about the 10-game obligation clause:
“He is on loan from Juventus with a buying obligation after 10 appearances.
“I think he’s done, so far, four or five appearances.”
So far Zaza has featured four times in the Premier League for West Ham and Hammers fans are probably hopeful he won’t make it to 10 based on his current form.

He has failed to impress in his early appearances for the club and does not look like a player they would like to have on board permanently at this point in time.
His situation is similar to that of Emmanuel Emenike. The Nigerian had an obligation clause in his loan contract at West Ham last season and, after failing to impress, he was dropped from first-team consideration to avoid activation.

Zaza will no doubt play 10 games for West Ham this season, at which point the club will be obliged to sign him permanently.
Hopefully he can show signs of his talent on the pitch before that time comes.
