The Gunners have already been sniffing around Les Gones’ players this year.

A Lyon player has told France Football that his dream is to play for a club like Arsenal in England’s Premier League.
OL pair Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir have been heavily linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium in recent months (Daily Star), although the player in question is neither on this occasion.
Like the pair, Corentin Tolisso has risen through Les Gones‘ ranks, establishing himself in the first team and earning international recognition – albeit only with France’s Under-21s thus far.

Now in his third season as a regular, midfielder Tolisso has already attracted interest from at least one top European club, but snubbed a move Napoli during the summer transfer window after ‘following his heart’.
Although, that’s not to say the midfielder wouldn’t consider leaving in the future.
“Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal,” Tolisso told France Football. “I love the Premier League and I think I have the profile. This is the championship that also offers more competition, which is the most open, the most hard-fought and most spectacular.”

Right now, a move to Arsenal seems unlikely for Tolisso, with the Gunners having paid around £30 million (Sky Sports) for Granit Xhaka at the start of the transfer window just gone.
However, the 22-year-old’s versatility – he played in both full-back positions when first coming through at Lyon – may appeal to the north London side.
