Former Manchester United and Manchester City midfielder Owen Hargreaves suggested on the UEFA Champions League Highlights show on BT Sport 2 on Wednesday night (broadcast from 10:15pm, September 28, 2016) that the game between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain will decide whether or not the Gunners can win Champions League Group A.

Arsenal will face French giants PSG at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Wednesday, November 23.

“I think Paris Saint-Germain are very good, obviously had a very slow start under Unai Emery, they were the dominant team in Paris,” said Hargreaves on the UEFA Champions League Highlights show on BT Sport 2 on Wednesday night (broadcast from 10:15pm, September 28, 2016) when asked if Arsenal are going to top Group A.

“So I think there’s still a lot more to come. Maybe that big game in London at the Emirates. PSG, they will come here. They have a lot of ball players, that will be a beautiful game.”

Hargreaves made the aforementioned comments following Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over FC Basel at home on Wednesday evening. Theo Walcott scored both the goals for the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium.

The Premier League outfit are now at the top of Group A with four points from two matches. Ligue 1 outfit PSG have also picked up four points from their two games and are currently second in the standings.

Having drawn with PSG in Paris earlier this month, Arsenal will fancy their chances of winning against them at home in November.

However, the North London outfit should not get complacent, as they still have to play Ludogorets Razgrad and Basel away from home in the Champions League group stage this season.
