Benitez gives player his debut: Predicted Newcastle line-up to play Wolves

Here is how we expect Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers to line up this week:

To be played on Tuesday 20th September 2016 at 18:45. Venue: St James' Park,

Odds: Newcastle 8/13, Draw 14/5, Wolves 17/4

Newcastle United were flying high when they kicked off against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, but by the end of the match they had seen their five-match winning streak ended with a 2-0 defeat and a below par performance.

Magpies manager Rafa Benitez will not want lightening to strike twice and he has a chance for some swift revenge when the two sides meet again in the EFL Cup this week.

Wolves' Helder Costa is denied by Newcastle United's Matz Sels

While Newcastle’s main aim will be earning promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, Benitez will also know he has the players at his disposal to go on a welcome cup run.

With a huge match against Aston Villa on the horizon, there will be changes for Newcastle; however their summer business and the decision to keep most of their players from last season means a strong side will still take to the field.

With that in mind here is how we expect Newcastle to line up on Tuesday evening:
