The German boss has been a big hit at Anfield since taking charge last year.
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has told Sky Sports that he believes Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are a perfect fit.
The German boss took charge at Anfield last October after the Reds decided to sack Brendan Rodgers.
He has been a big hit at the club since then, leading them to both the Europa League and Capital One cup finals in his first season in charge.
A big factor of his time at the club has been the manner in which he has connected with the club’s fans, who took to him from day one, and Ferguson says he believes that Liverpool and Klopp suit each other as a combination.
“He’s bought into the fans,” he told Sky Sports.
“And the support have taken to him because he’s shown that enthusiasm on the touchline, with his energy and his personality when he’s jumping out there. I think the combination of both suit each other.”
Liverpool are in sixth place in the table at this moment in time, with seven points from four matches.
It has been a relatively strong start to the season for them, with Saturday afternoon seeing them hammer Champions Leicester City at Anfield.
They return to action on Friday evening when they take on old enemies Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. A win in that game could see them move as high as second…at least temporarily.
