Rovers sit bottom of the Championship after seven games, and fans have taken to Twitter to share their frustrations.
Blackburn Rovers manager Owen Coyle
Blackburn Rovers remain winless after going down to a fifth defeat in seven games at Leeds United last night. Owen Coyle’s side have collected just two points from their opening seven fixtures, and yesterday’s reverse has further increased the scrutiny on the beleaguered manager.
The first half was goalless, with the main talking point being a clash of heads between Rovers striker Sam Gallagher and Leeds goalkeeper Rob Green, from which the visiting front man came off worse.
Green was awarded a yellow card for the collision, but Rovers spurned the opportunity from the resulting free-kick.

The hosts took the lead on 65 minutes as Chris Wood turned in from close range. United’s lead lasted just 12 minutes, however, as Marvin Emnes fired home from the edge of the box to draw Rovers level and open his account for the club following his loan move from Swansea.
Just as Coyle thought his side may have earned themselves a valuable away point, his defence left Kyle Bartley unmarked from a free-kick and the 25-year-old – who is also a Swansea loanee – found the corner of the net with his header.

Of course, the problems at Ewood Park run much deeper than the players or even the manager – the Venky’s are hugely unpopular in Blackburn, and the owners also came in for criticism on social media after the game.

Former Rovers midfielder David Thompson also took to Twitter to share his view.
Amidst the understandable anger, there was some gallows humour amongst the Rovers reaction, with one particular account being set up to emphasise their troubles.
Rovers have a crunch game on Saturday as they host fellow struggles Rotherham United. Another defeat could lead to a toxic atmosphere at Ewood Park, and Coyle may do well to survive another poor performance even at this early stage of the season.
