Liverpool fans have found themselves worried about their goalkeeping position on plenty of occasions in the past few years.

Belgian Simon Mignolet has never inspired confidence between the sticks and either have his deputies.

One such man is Adam Bogdan. The Hungarian international struggled in his appearances for the club after being signed by Brendan Rodgers. Jurgen Klopp had seen enough of him and loaned him out in the summer.

He headed to Wigan Athletic and last night he had an absolute howler for the Championship side.

He controlled the ball inside his six-yard box, dawdled, and watched as Jacob Murphy took the ball off of him and slotted home. Norwich City eventually won the game 2-1.

But Bogdan was not the only Liverpool loanee messing up in goal.

Danny Ward, who has been in great form for Huddersfield Town, had a moment to forget.

He allowed Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert’s shot to squirm underneath him as the Terriers lost their first game of the season.

The performances of two Liverpool loanees certainly caught the eye on Twitter, with ribbing for the hapless Bogdan and support for the unfortunate Ward…
