The US international scored his third goal in six games in the 89th-minute of D.C. United’s 2-2 draw at the New York Red Bulls to set the stage for Lamar Neagle’s dramatic late equaliser.
CB – Axel Sjoberg (Colorado Rapids)
The towering Swede was rock solid in Colorado’s impressive win at Dallas, recording five tackles, four interceptions and five clearances over the course of the 90 minutes.
LB – Jordan Stewart (San Jose Earthquakes)
The former Watford defender teed up Chris Wondolowksi’s opener in San Jose’s 1-1 home draw with the Seattle Sounders, sprinting down the left flank before delivering a perfect ball into the box for his teammate to provide the finish.

CM – Michael Azira (Colorado Rapids)
Azira was yet another Rapids player who starred in Saturday’s victory, making five tackles and five interceptions along with completing 28 of his 34 passes – six of which were long balls.
CM – Roger Espinoza (Sporting Kansas City)
The physical midfielder was Sporting KC’s star man in Friday night’s 3-3 draw with the Houston Dynamo, netting a thunderous first-half strike before helping set up Dom Dwyer’s 80th-minute finish.
RW – Carlos Rivas (Orlando City SC)
The pacey Colombian wide man was involved in all four Orlando’s goal in Wednesday night’s 4-1 victory at the Montreal Impact, recording two assists, drawing a penalty and scoring the fourth himself.
The Galaxy forward enjoyed a stellar Week 27, registering two goals and an assist in Wednesday night’s 3-3 draw at Real Salt Lake before recording another brace and two more assists on the weekend to secure his side a 4-2 home win over Orlando.
LW – Diego Fagundez (New England Revolution)
As well as completing the scoring in New England’s win over NYCFC, the homegrown attacker also set up Juan Agudelo’s opener and freed up Nguyen for the second goal with a fantastic dummy run.
ST – Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC)
Four days after bagging a brace in the US national team’s 4-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Trinidad and Tobago, Altidore produced similar heroics for his club side, netting his sixth goal in eight MLS appearances and setting up a Jonathan Osorio strike to hand Toronto a 2-1 win at the Chicago Fire.
