The former Arsenal man has joined the Eagles on a free transfer until the end of the season.

Crystal Palace were one of the busiest Premier League clubs in the transfer window this summer and they are still conducting business after the deadline with the signing of French midfielder Mathieu Flamini.
The 32-year-old joins Palace following his release from Arsenal and has signed a season long contract at the club.

It is Flamini's fourth free transfer of his career after twice joining Arsenal with a five-year spell at AC Milan in between.
In fact, the Frenchman is still yet to cost a club a penny in transfer fees during his 13-year career and he joins Palace with a strong reputation as a tough tackling and somewhat ill-disciplined midfielder.

Still, he's a player who has spent his entire career at some of Europe's top clubs so what do Palace fans make of their new signing?
Here is how Twitter reacted to the deal:
Choosing not to comment on the signing of Flamini until I see him play for us.— WHEDDSTA (@Wheddsta) September 8, 2016
Looking at others' opinions for now. #CPFC
First thought Flamini was brought in as a investor rather than a player but he's perfect squad filler and a decent passer #CPFC— Will Taylor (@theunusedsub) September 8, 2016
Happy with the Flamini signing for us, much needed experience and could have the Chamak effect of 2014! #CPFC— Marcus Parfett (@MarcusParfett) September 8, 2016
Flamini not a bad signing at all. I'll take that. #CPFC looking a bit more balanced now.— Zib Nyatito (@1ZibNyatito) September 8, 2016
Flamini career highlights at Crystal Palace would probably be him two-footing Diego Costa & scoring his only PL goal for #cpfc v Spurs.— Alan (@305Gunner) September 8, 2016
