According to reports from France Football, Premier League duo West Ham United and Stoke City are interested in securing the services of Lucas Tousart.

Tousart broke into the Valenciennes first team at the age of just 17 back in 2015 and following a number of mature performances which belied his tender age, the midfielder managed to earn the attention of French giants Olympique Lyonnais.

Clearly impressed with Tousart, Lyon splashed around £2 million to secure the services of the teenager at the start of last season.

Despite their investment, Lyon did not hand Tousart too much time on the pitch and the 19-year-old spent most of his time with the youth team.

Nonetheless, Tousart managed to get over his frustrating season with Lyon by captaining the French Under-19 side to the UEFA European Championships last month and as a result of his fine performances, a host of clubs across Europe are said to have expressed their interest in the 19-year-old this summer.

Now, according to reports from France Football, the Premier League duo of West Ham United and Stoke City are eyeing up a swoop for the youngster.

Tousart is said to be open to leaving Lyon due to the intense competition for places at the club, but it remains to be seen as to whether Les Gones would be ready to part with the talented midfielder.
