The West Brom boss believes his star striker will find form once the transfer window closes.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis
West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has been quoted by Sky Sports as saying that he will write a thesis one day on the transfer sagas surrounding his young star striker Saido Berahino, who remains linked with Crystal Palace and Stoke City.
Both Palace and Stoke have made bids of £20 million during this transfer window for Berahino, but it now appears that the England Under-21 international is going nowhere this summer.
The Baggies academy product has been perennially linked with a move away from the Hawthorns after he burst onto the scene into 2013 under then-manager Steve Clarke, before going on to score 14 league goals in the 2014-15 campaign.

Since then, a number of clubs have shown interest in the youngster, including Tottenham Hotspur, whose pursuit led to a falling-out between the player and former Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace.
But, as the transfer window draws to a close once again, it appears Berahino will not be leaving the West Midlands, and manager Tony Pulis has said that one day he will write a thesis on his repeated sagas – emphasising that it will be a long one.

“He’ll be fine,” Pulis said of Berahino’s state of mind amid his current drop in form, via Sky Sports. “Getting over the next three or four days will be massive for him.
“I just think, one day, I will write a thesis on it. It will be a long one. Is this the fourth or fifth window? It seems like about 20 with him. The kid has had to put up with it, you can’t stop it, unfortunately. Some of the stories I could tell you.
“I was disappointed he never scored on Tuesday, his running stats were fantastic but he really should have scored five. He had three chances when it’s just him and the keeper. One goes in and hopefully the gates open.”
Northampton Town players celebrate their win against the Baggies earlier in the week
Berahino’s side take on Middlesbrough on Sunday, and they will be hoping to bounce back from their embarrassing cup exit to relative minnows Northampton, to whom they lost on penalties in the second round of the EFL Cup earlier this week.
The Baggies currently have three points from their first two league games, courtesy of a win against Crystal Palace on the opening day of the campaign.
