Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is said to have trained with Tottenham this week. An official announcement of a deal is thought to be imminent.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has trained with Tottenham this week, according to French publication L’Equipe via Maxifoot.
The report claims the 21-year old worked with the squad on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of his seemingly inevitable move to Spurs.

The deal has rumbled on for over a month, with the Marseille winger completing his medical on July 19th before complications arose, but if L’Equipe’s claim proves accurate it surely means the switch will happen before the close of the transfer window next Wednesday.
Changes behind the scenes at the French club, as well as rumours of Daniel Levy changing the goalposts after agreements were made, has caused the seemingly straightforward transfer to become one of the sagas of the summer.
The report also suggests that an agreement to send Njie in the opposite direction has not yet been reached and Spurs could finish the window with both Nkoudou and the Cameroonian on their books.
Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen
The Lilywhites have added just Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama to their squad and Mauricio Pochettino spoke recently of his desire to bring in up to three more new faces before next week.

Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez will join on loan imminently – according to the London Evening Standard – and Nkoudou should bring Tottenham’s incoming total to four.
Who that fifth signing could be remains up in the air but links to the likes of Wilfried Zaha (Daily Mail) and Ivan Perisic (Sky Italia) emerged last night; setting the stage for an eventful six days to come at Hotspur Way.
