Galatasaray are interested in signing Cheick Tiote from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to Mynet Spor.
It has been reported by the Turkish news outlet, who have also been cited by The Daily Star, that Galatasaray are looking into the possibility of signing the 30-year-old midfielder.
Tiote has been on the books of Newcastle since the summer of 2010 and has a contract with the Magpies until June 2017, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The 30-year-old defensive midfielder is a good footballer, but he has not played well for the Magpies for a while now.
The former FC Twente man was able to feature in just 20 Premier League matches for Newcastle during the 2015-16 campaign.
