The youngster has links with the Premier League side.
Ethan Ampadu
According to a report from Goal, Arsenal are interested in moving for Exeter City starlet Ethan Ampadu.
The 15-year-old is one of the most exciting prospects in English football currently, and Goal reports that the Gunners are interested in bringing him to the Emirates.
Ethan’s father Kwame Ampadu now works for Arsenal’s academy
One factor that is surely likely to work in their favour is the fact that Goal reports that his father, former Arsenal and Exeter midfielder Kwame Ampadu, is an academy coach for the North London outfit.
The Grecians defender really put himself on the footballing map when he became the club’s youngest ever player – eclipsing the record previously held by Cliff Bastin, who, until 1997, was also Arsenal’s all-time leading goalscorer – during their EFL Cup clash with Brentford earlier this week.

And the fact that he played the full 90 minutes as well as the entirety of extra-time to help Paul Tisdale’s men keep a clean sheet on their way to a 1-0 win against a team from two divisions above would have surely seen several teams sit up and take notice.
But with the family links to Arsenal, as well as their record for bringing through youngsters, it will surely be very difficult for Ampadu to turn the Gunners turn if they come calling.
