Former Liverpool star Luis Suarez has hailed Philippe Coutinho as the boss of the team for the Reds, speaking to the club’s official website.
The South American duo formed a close partnership during Suarez’s time at Anfield, with the pair playing a key role in the season Liverpool came close to winning the Premier League title.
The Brazilian has continued to shine since Suarez left for Barcelona, becoming one of the key men in the Reds midfield.

Last season in particular saw Coutinho taking on more responsibility, and he flourished under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp.
And Suarez is impressed, saying his former teammate is now the man who controls everything in the team.
“I played against him when Uruguay played Brazil, but I think Philippe with Liverpool is different. He is the boss of the team on the pitch because he controls everything,” he told Liverpool’s official website.

It now remains to be seen if Coutinho can enjoy a successful season with Liverpool this year.
Many are expecting big things from the Reds after their first campaign under Klopp saw them reach the Europa League and the Capital One Cup finals. A fit and focused Coutinho will be key to Liverpool’s success this term.
