Last season's Serie A top scorer has completed a record breaking transfer from Napoli to the Italian champions.
Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain celebrates after scoring against Udinese
Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that Juventus have signed Napoli and Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuan for what is an Italian record deal.
The former Real Madrid man, who was one of the continent's top scorers last season when he plundered an impressive 38 goals in 42 games, including 36 in 35 Serie A matches, moved for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be £75.3 million, making him the third most expensive signing of all time.

The Gunners had been strongly linked with making a move for the 28-year-old both this summer and in past transfer windows, by the likes of the Mail, but as of now, it looks like the club are still unlikely to bring in another established centre forward.
A world class striker has long been on the wish list of Arsenal supporters, with fans frustrated with the stop-start form of the likes of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott.
Arsene Wenger has been linked with big money transfers for Higuain, Alvaro Morata and Alexandre Lacazette this summer, but already two of those players have made a move, while reports this week from BBC Sport that the Gunners were making moves for France international Lacazette for significantly lower fees than what it is reported will convince Lyon to sell won't fill those that follow the club with any confidence.
Considering his age, the fee paid by Juventus seems expensive, but still many Arsenal supporters were quick to give their opinion on another missed opportunity in the transfer market:
Ah man! Another striker we've never bid for rejected us! Ffs #Wenger! #afc #Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain is class but certainly not £75million worth of class - even in today's absurd market. Wenger's got this one right. #AFC

Gonzalo Higuain is closing in on a move to Juventus and Arsene Wenger is shaking his head and fumbling with the zipper on his jacket.

Wenger won't pay £32M for #Higuain a few years ago. Napoli did & got 94 goals plus £75M. #arsenal

I'm first to call for Wenger to invest in a top class striker, but if Higuain was £75m, I think he's made a sensible decision to bow out.

Can't really blame Wenger for not pursuing Higuain he was never going to fork out 75m for a 28 year old

#Higuain gone to #Juventus and Wenger keeping the check book in his pocket. It clearly reflects his goals. Signed a top class striker FGS

@Arsenal apparently according to wenger there is no one available to buy. In other news higuain joins juventus.

If there's one thing I will give Wenger credit for this summer, it is NOT paying the joke price Juve did for Higuain.
— Tom (@TCanton94) July 26, 2016
Milik to Napoli, Higuain to Juve, Wenger bidding less than West Ham did for Lacazette, unreal
