Andre Ayew has been strongly linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium.
Ayew has reportedly attracted the interest of Chelsea
Chelsea are lining up a shock move for Swansea City forward Andre Ayew, The Sun has reported.
Antonio Conte is keen to make an impression at Stamford Bridge as he looks to make the Blues a force in English football once more, with a striker thought to be at the top of his transfer wish list.
Ayew looks likely to leave the Liberty Stadium
However, after completing a £30 million deal for Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante, he is understood to have ruled out making any further big-money moves, and sees the Ghana international, who has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium this summer, as a perfect fit.
Chelsea manager Conte appears reluctant to splash the cash this summer
Sunderland and West Ham United have both been linked with Ayew recently, but The Sun claims Chelsea are now at the front of the queue.
Ayew could cost around £12 million
The ex-Marseille star netted 12 Premier League goals for Swansea during the 2015-16 campaign after arriving on a free transfer last summer and is thought to carry a price tag of around £12 million.
Meanwhile, BBC Sport has claimed that Swansea could also lose striker Bafetimbi Gomis this summer, with reports linking him with a move to French side Marseille.
