HITC Sport understands Hull receive bid for defender from Premier League rivals.

Hull City's Josh Tymon in action

An unnamed Premier League club have tabled a bid for highly-rated Hull City defender Josh Tymon, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Tymon is regarded as one of the best young prospects in the country after breaking into the Hull side last season.

The left-back made his first-team debut in the FA Cup fourth round win over Bury, while he also started the fifth round clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium and helping his side to a 0-0 draw.

Arsenal were impressed by Tymon's showing against them and have been keeping tabs on the England under-17 international ever since.

Arsenal's North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Bournemouth are also admirers of Tymon and are monitoring the teenager's situation.

Now a mystery Premier League club have firmed up their interest in Tymon by tabling a £1million plus bid for the player as they look to lure him away from the KC Stadium.
