Liverpool and Napoli have been heavily linked with Piotr Zielinski.

Liverpool have received a huge boost in their bid to sign Piotr Zielinski after the player’s agent made it clear how his client is not going to move to transfer rivals Napoli this summer, Tuttomercatoweb report.

The Reds have made a £9.5 million bid for the Udinese midfielder (Sky Sports) as they remain determined to sign him this summer though they do face competition from Italian side Napoli.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently said that his side already have an agreement with Udinese to sign Zielinski (Daily Mail), yet the player seemingly prefers a switch to Liverpool.

Now, his agent has confirmed as much by completely ruling out a move to the Stadio San Paolo.

“To be honest, there is no chance the player will move to Napoli,” Bartlomiej Bolek told Tuttomercatoweb.

Bolek then went on to state the player’s will to join the Reds this summer, with the Poland international particularly keen to link up with boss Jurgen Klopp ahead of next season.

Zielinski is described as a hard-working midfielder with plenty of technical ability, and despite being just 22 he has already made over 80 appearances in Italy’s Serie A.
