Celtic attacking midfielder Kris Commons has been linked with Rotherham United and Birmingham City.

Rotherham United are interested in signing Kris Commons from Celtic in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.
Commons has been on the books of Celtic since 2011 and has a contract until June 2017.
It has been reported by The Scottish Sun that new Rotherham manager Alan Stubbs wants to bring in Commons as one of eight new signings.

The former Hibernian manager played with the Scottish attacking midfielder at Championship club Derby County back in 2008.
According to The Scottish Sun, the former Nottingham Forest and Derby attacking midfielder wants to remain at Celtic and work with new manager Brendan Rodgers.

Championship side Birmingham City, who were aiming for the playoffs this past season, are also reported to be interested in signing Commons from Celtic in the summer transfer window.
While one can understand the temptation of playing in the Championship, perhaps Commons should focus on Celtic for now.
If the 32-year-old former Stoke City man can impress new Celtic manager Rodgers, then he could play a key role in the Bhoys’ quest to win the Scottish Premiership and qualify for the group stage of the Champions League next season.
