The Sun is reporting that German giants Bayern Munich are targeting Arsenal star Mesut Ozil, after the German put contract talks on hold until after Euro 2016.

Ozil, 27, has two years left on his current deal, and the newspaper claims that he has rebuffed the club's advances regarding his future for the second time, insisting that he does not want anything to get in the way of his preparations for the Euros.

The Sun also suggests that Ozil wants to spend the prime years of his career at a trophy winning club, and whether or not a new contract is signed will depend heavily on the ambition Arsene Wenger shows in the transfer window, and in turn, the calibre of player he brings into the Emirates.
