International record: 118 caps

2015/16: Petr Cech is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and was in good form for Arsenal this past season.

The Czech Republic international joined the Gunners from London rivals Chelsea in the summer of 2015.

The 34-year-old kept 16 clean sheets in 34 Premier League appearances for Arsenal, making 2.21 saves per game and 2.68 saves per goals on average in the process.

There were occasions when Cech could have done better with shots taken from distance, but overall the former Rennes star had a successful 2015-16 campaign.

What can we expect? Cech will be the Czech Republic’s first-choice goalkeeper at the Euro 2016 finals in France, and he will be expected to lead from the back.

Winning against Spain, Turkey and Croatia in the group stage will not be easy, and the Arsenal goalkeeper will have to be alert all the time.

The Czech Republic should fancy their chances of getting out of their group, but it is hard to see them to go too far in the competition.
