Alexandre Lacazette

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon in the summer transfer window.

Olympique Lyonnais owner and chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has suggested on social networking site Twitter that he will not sell Alexandre Lacazette in the summer transfer window.

Lacazette has been on the books of Lyon his entire professional career so far and has a contract until June 2019.

The 24-year-old forward is one of the best players in Ligue 1 and has been linked with a move away from the French club this summer.

According to a recent report in The London Evening Standard, Premier League duo Tottenham and West Ham are interested in signing the France international in the summer transfer window.

Lyon owner and chairman Aulas, though, has suggested on Twitter that he will not sell Lacazette, while responding to recent reports on L’Equipe regarding speculation on the future of the French forward.

Aulas wrote on social networking site Twitter: “Let’s see if you are honest to say one time that the president has decided not to sell Lacazette.”

Lacazette scored 21 goals and created 43 chances in 34 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon this past season.

During the 2014-15 campaign, the French forward scored 27 goals and created 54 chances in 33 league matches.
