Gary Lineker and David James react on Twitter to West Ham win

West Ham United won against Manchester United in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City striker Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to West Ham United’s victory over Manchester United at home on Tuesday evening.

West Ham returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 3-2 triumph over United at the Boleyn Ground in London.

It was the last ever game at the Boleyn Ground, as the Hammers will play at the Olympic Stadium from next season.

Lineker was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result, suggesting on Twitter that it was fitting farewell to the Boleyn Ground. The former Everton striker has also said that the Boleyn Ground will be missed.

Former West Ham goalkeeper David James was also following the game, and he was pleased with the final result.

The final result was apt for the occasion, and it also enhanced West Ham’s chances of clinching a Europa League spot.

Slaven Bilic’s side are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 62 points from 37 matches.
