Famous West Ham fan Ray Winstone also joined in the singalong.
West Ham United held their awards night last night and there was no surprise to see who picked up the Hammer of the Year award.
That accolade went to summer signing Dimitri Payet.
The Frenchman has been a wizard in the West Ham midfield this campaign as the Hammers fight for a place in Europe for next term.
His arrival has not been the only reason for West Ham’s renewed success, the energy and enthusiasm brought to the club by new manager Slaven Bilic has also been massive.
He once again endeared himself to the West Ham faithful last night as he joined in a rendition of ‘We’ve got Payet’ with the rest of the West Ham crowd in attendance – including Hollywood actor and famous West Ham fan Ray Winstone:
Bilic certainly does have Payet.
Earlier in the season he was linked with several big money moves, including to China, but ended up signing an improved deal at the club as a reward for his efforts since joining from Marseille.
West Ham fans and Bilic will now be hoping that Payet can light up the Olympic Stadium just as he did the Boleyn Ground in its last ever season.
