Multiple reports suggest Tottenham Hotspur are battling Bayern Munich for SC Freiburg talent Nathaniel Mamamoo

The striker is one of Germany's brightest talents.

Reports in Germany are linking Tottenham Hotspur with a move for one of the country’s top young talents.

Sportal is among many publications reporting that Spurs are keen on the signature of SC Freiburg youngster Nathaniel Amamoo.

The report claims that Freiburg are attempting to convince the striker to sign a new deal at the club – amid interest from Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Tottenham.

The striker has certainly impressed in the Freiburg youth system. He has scored 13 goals in 18 games in the under-19 Bundesliga this season.

Amamoo, who started his career at TeBe Berlin, joined Freiburg in July last year and the club have already decided to promote him to the first-team for next season.

The German under-18 international, who can also play for Ghana, is just 18-years-old and looks like a great talent for the future.

Tottenham have picked up a reputation recently for developing young talent and giving them a chance in the first-team under Mauricio Pochettino – so that could prove a big bonus for any young player considering a move to Spurs and the club will hope that gives them a boost in pursuit of Amamoo.
