Lord Sugar dismissed Tottenham player during Manchester United game, but he was proved wrong

Erik Lamela was superb for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

During the Premier League game between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at White Hart Lane on Sunday evening, Lord Sugar made his opinion about Erik Lamela perfectly clear on social networking site Twitter.

The former Tottenham chairman was not impressed with the performance of the Argentina international attacker during the first half and made the following post on Twitter:

Tottenham did not have a great first half, but they turned on the style in the second period and scored three goals to win the game 3-0.

Lamela was the star of the show for Spurs, as he continued to show why he is such a special player.

The 24-year-old, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, scored the third and final goal in the 3-0 victory for Tottenham.

The former AS Roma star took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 50%, created two chances, put in four crosses, attempted one dribble, won 67% of his tackles, and made two interceptions, two clearances and five blocks.

Lamela worked hard during the match and made some good runs, and he atoned for missing a glorious chance in the first half with his display in the second period and proved Lord Sugar wrong in the process.
