Graham Roberts reacts angrily on Twitter to Jurgen Klopp's Tottenham comments

The Tottenham icon took to social media ahead of Saturday's clash with Liverpool.

Former Tottenham Hotspur man Graham Roberts reacted angrily on Twitter to Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp's comments on Friday afternoon.

Indeed, Roberts - whether he misunderstood Klopp's quotes or perceived them accurately - was unhappy with the German apparently discussing players that could leave Tottenham.

The ex-Tottenham man then proceeded to put Liverpool down on several counts...

The reaction is perhaps a little strong as the Liverpool boss no doubt didn't mean to cause Spurs any offence and has been full of praise for Tottenham during his press conference.

If Roberts is also suggesting Klopp 'may go soon,' that is a little misleading.

Under the German, Liverpool are a team on the up and will enjoy plenty of success next season. Tottenham look like they will, too. There could be a rivalry to enjoy between the two sides - so there isn't really the need for these kind of Twitter attacks.
