Tottenham Hotspur talent Kyle Walker-Peters tweets his excitement for team-mate Josh Onomah

Onomah scored in England under-19s 2-1 win against Georgia.

England under-19s were in action yesterday, taking on Georgia in an Under-19 European Championships qualifier.

England won the game 2-1 with Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea stars the pick of the England players.

Tammy Abraham of Chelsea scored the first goal, after an assist from Tottenham talent Joshua Onomah.

The Chelsea player then repaid the favour, setting up Onomah to score the second goal after just ten minutes.

A late goal from Guran Goshteliani proved to be a mere consolation for Georgia.

Onomah was not the only Tottenham player on show. Kyle Walker-Peters played at right-back in the game. The defender, who has recently got closer to the Tottenham Hotspur first-team, then had this Twitter message for both Abraham and his Spurs team-mate Onomah:

Onomah has had a breakthrough season with Spurs. He made his debut for the club against Anderlecht in the Europa League in October and has since gone on to play 18 times for the club – although he is still waiting for his first goal for Tottenham’s first-team.

But given the patience Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has shown for young English talent, expect to see Onomah in the Spurs team for some time.
