Rangers reportedly interested in bringing 20-year-old Tottenham player to Ibrox

Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Winks on loan in the summer transfer window.

Rangers are interested in signing Harry Winks from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Record.

It has been reported by the Scottish publication that Scottish Championship outfit Rangers want to recruit the 20-year-old midfielder on a season-long loan deal.

It has been suggested in the report that preliminary talks have taken place between the two clubs, with Tottenham interested in having Winks experience regular playing time next season.

Good move?

Winks is a talented young player and is rated highly at North London outfit Tottenham.

The midfielder has yet to feature in the Premier League for Spurs this season, but he has played twice in the Europa League.

Rangers are very likely to play in the Scottish Premiership next season, and Winks would get valuable first-team experience at the Gers.

Given the quality of midfield players that Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino has at his disposal at the moment, it is hard to see Winks get much playing time at White Hart Lane next season.
