Former Premier League midfielder Paul Merson believes the top two teams in the division will both record wins this weekend over their struggling opponents.
Second placed Tottenham travel to bottom side Aston Villa on Sunday, while league leaders Leicester City host Newcastle United.
He said: "Spurs will win. It puts a bit more pressure on Leicester on Monday night football as they have to win. I'm going 3-0 Spurs."
While admitting Leicester will be pushed that little bit harder with Tottenham closing the gap ahead of the fixture, he is confident the Foxes will see off Newcastle too, despite the managerial changes taking place at the Toon.
He believes that the pressure Newcastle are also under will cancel out Leicester's own nerves, helping the home side get a result, expecting them to win by the same scoreline as Tottenham.
Merson said: "I watched Newcastle the other day and I can;t see anything but a Leicester win. I'm going to go 3-0 Leicester.
"There will be drama, because its the Premier League but the pressures on both teams here. Leicester aren't playing against a mid table team."
Leicester currently have a five point lead over Tottenham, which can be cut to two ahead of Monday's game if Spurs beat Villa.
