The former Tottenham chairman and striker were delighted... until Arsenal's equaliser.
Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Alan Sugar was delighted when the north London side came back to take the lead against Arsenal, posting a smile on Twitter - next to unhappy Gunners fan Piers Morgan.
However, Arsenal later equalised, as the north London derby ended 2-2 - perhaps ultimately benefiting Leicester City more than anyone.
Arsenal took the lead through Aaron Ramsey's first-half opener. Francis Coquelin's second-half sending off seemed to swing the game in Tottenham's favour but Alexis Sanchez hit back for the Gunners.
Meanwhile, former Spurs striker Gary Lineker reacted on Twitter to the north London side's comeback, joking that things escalated quickly.
He also - understandably - praised Harry Kane.
Well that escalated quickly!— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) March 5, 2016
Harry Kane has it. It's as simple as that. And he has it in abundance.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) March 5, 2016
Lineker later praised Sanchez similarly once Arsenal equalised.
What a pulsating game but it's one that doesn't do much for either side's title chances if Leicester win later today. However, a defeat at Watford and both Tottenham and Arsene Wenger's men can claim they've gained a point on the Foxes...
That's a very good result for......Leicester.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) March 5, 2016
