Report: Nottingham Forest want prolific Crewe midfielder Brad Inman, Championship rivals keen

Nottingham Forest, MK Dons, Bolton Wanderers and Bristol City are all pursuing Crewe Alexandra ace Brad Inman, according to reports.

According to the Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest are amongst a host of Championship clubs looking to sign Crewe Alexandra's Brad Inman.

Inman, 24, may be familiar to some Newcastle fans after the Australian-born midfielder joined the Magpies as a teenager, before leaving in 2013 for a permanent move to Crewe Alexandra.

The former Scotland Under-21 international has been a key player for Crewe ever since, and after just two goals last season, he has burst into life this term.

With nine goals from midfield this season, Inman has become a prolific playmaker for Crewe, though he can play out wide as well as through the middle of midfield.

Now, his exploits in League One appear to have attracted interest, with the Daily Mail reporting that Crewe risk losing their star player this summer.

It's stated that, with Inman out of contract this summer and available on a free transfer, Championship clubs such as Nottingham Forest, Bolton Wanderers, Bristol City and Milton Keynes Dons are all keen to sign Inman, along with League One trio Blackpool, Sheffield United and Wigan Athletic.

Given the number of clubs interested in signing him in a bargain deal this summer, it's hard to see Inman staying with Crewe - and after impressing in League One this season, he may now get a chance to impress in the Championship.

Would you like your club to sign Inman this summer?
