Mark Bright criticises Jamie Vardy on Twitter, compares him to Manchester United winger

Leicester City lost to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

Mark Bright has criticised Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy on social networking site Twitter.

The former Leicester forward believes that the England international dived to earn a penalty for the Foxes against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Vardy earned a spot kick for his team on the stroke of half time when he tumbled over Nacho Monreal's outstretched leg inside the Gunners’ penalty box.

The 29-year-old went on to score and put Leicester in the lead, but in the end Arsenal won the match 2-1.

Bright was not impressed with Vardy and has compared him to Manchester United winger Ashley Young, who has a reputation of tumbling down in order to earn penalties.

The defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in North London must have come as a blow to Leicester, but Claudio Ranieri’s side are still one of the top favourites to win the Premier League this season.

Leicester remain at the top of the league table with 53 points from 26 matches, but their lead is now two points.
