Chris Brunt says West Brom will be fine if everyone stays fit

West Bromwich Albion are in the midst of a poor run of form.

West Bromwich Albion player Chris Brunt has been speaking to the Express & Star about the quality of the Baggies squad this season.

Tony Pulis’s side is currently 14th in the Premier League, six points clear of the bottom three with 13 matches remaining.

However West Brom have not won in the league since the beginning of January and they may need to go on a run to ensure they are not pulled into a relegation scrap in the final few months of the campaign.

Some West Brom fans have begun to show their displeasure at the team’s performance but Brunt believes they will be fine provided everyone stays fit.

“We’ve got a decent enough squad and if we can get everybody fit and out on the pitch, we’ll be okay this season,” Brunt told the Express & Star.

That may well be the case, but injuries can strike at any time in football and there is no doubt West Brom’s players need to start turning draws into wins to ensure they have a comfortable run-in.

Next up for Pulis’s men is a FA Cup fourth round replay against Peterborough United on Wednesday evening before they head to Everton this weekend in the league.
