Does Leicester City player Robert Huth deserve a seat on Germany plane for Euro 2016?

The German defender already has 19 caps for his nation, but has not played international football in seven years.

Leicester City are flying in the Premier League and it has many pundits discussing whether Danny Drinkwater should join Jamie Vardy on the plane to Euro 2016 with England this summer.

But another player in the Leicester team who might also have a chance of being in contention for his respective nation must be German defender Robert Huth.

He already has 19 caps for Germany, picked up during his time with Chelsea and Middlesbrough. He even played at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He has not featured for Germany since 2009 and the nation are currently World Champions - so getting back in the fold would be difficult.

But not impossible. Per Mertesacker has retired, Jerome Boateng and Benedikt Howedes is struggling with injury and Shkodran Mustafi is in poor form at Valencia. Huth might just sneak in.

It is a long shot, but do not be surprised to see Huth at Euro 2016 with Die Mannschaaft this summer.
