Everton fans react on Twitter to Tom Cleverley's eye-catching performance v Stoke City

Everton picked up a fantastic 3-0 win against Stoke City.

Everton took on Stoke City this afternoon and ran rampant at The Britannia Stadium. The Toffees won comfortably, taking a 3-0 triumph from The Potteries.

They took the lead when Romelu Lukaku slotted home from the penalty spot, after Jack Butland took down Tom Cleverley in the box.

Cleverley then turned provider for the second, swinging in a corner for Seamus Coleman, an unlikely candidate, to turn home a header.

Aaron Lennon was then played through on goal and showed great composure to slip the ball beyond Butland for 3-0.

There was an abundance of top performances in the game. Bryan Oviedo was brilliant again, Ross Barkley was his mercurial best whilst Ramiro Funes Mori and Phil Jagielka were solid at the back.

But Cleverley really stood out.

The former Manchester United midfielder has his critics but had a real impact on the proceedings in this game popping up in dangerous positions throughout the game.

His bagged an assist and won a penalty in one of his best games in an Everton shirt to date.

Hopefully he can continue to perform like this for the Toffees.
