Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday have been linked with the player this month.
Playmaker Alan Judge has handed Brentford a major boost by opting to stay at the club when the transfer window closes.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been the subject of two failed bids in the current transfer window, one from Sheffield Wednesday and the other from Burnley, because they fell short of Brentford’s valuation of the former Blackburn Rovers player.
Judge is Brentford’s top scorer this season with 12 goals and has also chipped in with eight assists making him one of the standout performers in the Championship.
Despite the speculation over his future Judge had continued to star for Brentford and the Irishman admits he will continue to give his all for the club for the rest of the season.
Speaking exclusively to HITC he stated:
“It has been flattering to be linked with other clubs, but I will be staying at Brentford this month,” said Judge.
“I want to focus on the rest of the season and do my best to try and help the team finish as high up the table as possible.
“I enjoy working under the manager and love the support I get from the fans and hopefully we can all enjoy a good end to the season.”
Judge, who was recently called up to the Republic of Ireland squad, will be hoping his superb form will help earn a place in Martin O’Neill’s plans for this summer’s European Championships in France.
