Serge Gnabry reportedly pleading with Arsenal to end his West Brom loan

The young Arsenal player has barely featured for West Bromwich Albion this season.

According to a report from the Daily Star, Serge Gnabry is pleading with Arsenal to allow him to end his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion early.

The 20-year-old made the temporary switch to The Hawthorns in the summer but he has made just three appearances for the Baggies to date, racking up just 12 minutes in the Premier League.

However, despite clearly not being in West Brom manager Tony Pulis’s plans it seems he is going nowhere any time soon.

The report claims Arsenal want West Brom to honour their original agreement and pay Gnabry’s wages until the end of the season and have sent him back to the club to see out his loan deal.

If true, that seems somewhat bizarre given his lack of game-time at the Baggies and the fact that is unlikely to change in the coming months.

Gnabry’s talent is undeniable but with little chance of playing for either West Brom or Arsenal this season he had best get ready to add to his three appearances for the Baggies under-21s.
