Are Arsenal fans right to boo their former player? We’re not sure!

We reckon it must be pretty hard if you leave a club you’ve been at since you were a kid and then join their rivals a few years later.

And that’s exactly what has happened in Cesc Fabregas’ career. The Spaniard started his Premier League career at Arsenal and rose to captain the side before leaving for Barcelona. He then went on to join the Gunners’ rivals Chelsea in 2014 and pretty much every Arsenal fan up and down the country disowned him.

Every time Fabregas has come up against his former side as a Chelsea player, the fans have well and truly given him a piece of their mind.

And it was no different when the two sides met at the Emirates. Though their side were losing 1-0 and were a man down, they put all their energy in booing Cesc whenever he got the ball.

However, the Spaniard had the last laugh with his side picking up all three points, and he decided to celebrate and get Arsenal fans even more riled up…

But what did he do? Well, as he was leaving the pitch, it looks like he pats his heart and the Chelsea badge on his shirt…THE MONSTER!

As you can imagine, Arsenal fans lost their nut and took to Twitter to have a right good go at their former midfielder:
