The news agency reports that Peterkin, who has been co-head of EMEA oil and gas investment banking at Barclays since 2009, will join Credit Suisse in March and be based in London, according to the memo, whose contents were confirmed by a Credit Suisse spokeswoman.
In the meantime, Bloomberg News reports that Man Group, the world’s largest publicly traded hedge fund, has hired former Moore Capital Management money managers Rory Hill and Ben Lynch as portfolio managers.
Hill and Lynch have joined the GLG unit of Man Group that uses fundamental analysis to bet across asset classes, according to a spokeswoman for the firm. They have joined GLG’s long-short investing team that wagers on rising and falling share prices.
