Tottenham transfer news: Guillem Balague claims club’s stance on Barcelona forward

Barcelona forward Sandro Ramirez has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

Well-known Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has revealed on social networking site Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur have denied any interest in Barcelona forward Sandro Ramirez.

Balague, who works for Sky Sports and AS, has claimed that Barcelona want to sell the 20-year-old in the January transfer window.

The Spaniard has also stated that there is interest in the Spain Under-21 international, but he has stated that Tottenham have distanced themselves from the youngster.

Sandro is a talented young player, but he is unable to play regularly for the Barcelona first team at the moment.

With Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar forming a formidable front-three for Barcelona, it is understandable why the 20-year-old is struggling to get playing time.

The Spaniard has featured in 10 La Liga appearances for Barcelona so far this season, creating six chances in the process.

Sandro has a pass accuracy of 83% and a shot accuracy of 29%, and has won three dribbles and two tackles.
