Rangers fans react on Twitter as Harry Forrester completes his Ibrox transfer

Rangers have signed Doncaster ace Harry Forrester.

Rangers today confirmed their first signing of the January transfer window, having announced the arrival of midfielder Harry Forrester from Doncaster, as seen above.

The Gers made a host of signings over the summer, bringing in the likes of Wes Foderingham, James Tavernier, Rob Kiernan, Danny Wilson, Gedion Zelalem, Jason Holt and Martyn Waghorn.

However, after a couple of underwhelming results of late, manager Mark Warburton needed to bring in a couple more new additions just to freshen up the squad.

Today, he brought in the first of what could be a number of new signings, as attacking midfielder Harry Forrester joined the club on an initial six month contract from Doncaster Rovers.

The 24-year-old, who can also play out wide, worked with Gers boss Warburton at Watford and Brentford, meaning the pair are reuniting once again.

After completing the deal, Rangers fans took to Twitter in order to give their views on the latest signing, with a virtually unanimous opinion that he will be a good signing.

Some fans also called for Newcastle's Haris Vuckic to sign as well, with many noting that Forrester should thrive whilst working with Warburton once again.

Here are some of the reactions from Rangers fans after Harry Forrester completed his move to Ibrox on Thursday afternoon.
