Benik Afobe sends message on Twitter after win, Wolves fans respond

Wolverhampton Wanderers defeated Charlton Athletic 2-0 in the Championship on Monday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Benik Afobe has taken to social networking site Twitter to react to his side’s win against Charlton Athletic away from home on Monday afternoon.

Kenny Jackett’s team made it two wins in a row in the Championship, as they got the better of Charlton 2-0 at The Valley.

After a goalless first half, Jordan Graham put Wolves in the lead seven minutes into the second half.

The visitors scored their second and secured the points through a Harry Lennon own goal seven minutes from full time.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at The Valley, hosts Charlton had 57% of the possession, took 10 shots of which only two were on target, and earned six corners.

The Wanderers had 43% of the possession, took nine shots of which three were on target, and earned eight corners.

Afobe has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the win, with Wolves fans responding to his message.
