Karren Brady and Trevor Sinclair react on Twitter to West Ham win

West Ham United won 2-1 against Southampton in the Premier League on Monday evening.

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has taken to social networking site Twitter to give her reaction to the team's win against Southampton this evening.

The Hammers returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-1 triumph over Southampton at the Boleyn Ground.

An own goal from Arsenal-owned defender Carl Jenkinson saw the Saints go ahead after just 13 minutes, but second-half goals from Michail Antonio and Andy Carroll helped West Ham register their first league victory in two months.

Brady was overjoyed with the victory and has expressed her delight on Twitter:

Former West Ham winger Trevor Sinclair has singled out Antonio for praise.

Antonio’s goal against Southampton was his first for West Ham in the Premier League since joining the London outfit from Championship side Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Boleyn Ground, the 25-year-old winger took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 64%, put in one cross, attempted six dribbles, and made three interceptions and three blocks.

West Ham are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 29 points from 19 matches, six points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
