Forest will face Leeds at the City Ground in the Championship on Sunday afternoon, and Owen believes that the match will end 1-1.
“Nottingham Forest v Leeds is a tricky game to call between two mid-table sides, though to be fair Leeds have won three of their last four games and Forest are unbeaten in their last five,” the former Newcastle striker has written on Colossusbets.com. “I’ll settle for 1-1.”
Forest will head into the game against Leeds on the back of a 2-1 victory over MK Dons at the City Ground.
The Reds are in good form at the moment and appear to be playing with confidence.
Dougie Freedman’s side are 15th in the Championship table at the moment with 28 points from 22 matches.
Forest are just six points behind sixth-placed Ipswich Town, and perhaps they could push for a playoff spot.
Leeds are also in good form at the moment and currently find themselves 13th in the Championship table.
The West Yorkshire outfit are a point ahead of Forest, and they also should be looking to challenge for the playoffs.
Steve Evans’s side will head into Sunday afternoon’s game against the Reds at the City Ground on the back of a 1-0 victory over Preston North End at Elland Road.
